Oh just so you know, I used to read your blog years ago, and I’ve finally found some passion to get back into blogging after some hectic years… and you know, your blog is one that I remember, and I came to from memory because I enjoyed reading it. (that and I remembered your caravanning blog and we’re planning to hit the road and travel) So I thought I should comment so you know that there are people out there who remember you, enjoy your reading…. I definitely go against the grain, so following the popular crowd isn’t really my style anyway Ree x

I really enjoy your blog however if it is all too hard to keep on then don’t. Why wear yourself out more by feeling pressured. Remember there are seasons for everything…. seasons to share, seasons to keep things close to your belt, seasons for this friend or that one, seasons to rest, seasons to stop, seasons to laugh, seasons to cry.
I think that if most of us stopped and had a hard look at our lives we also wouldnt be happy or content… its when we stop and feel our pain that helps us to move on… to try and find solutions or ways to manage our lives …
Remember that noone else lives your life for you ..noone else knows exactly how things are for you so noone else can really understand completely and thats okay.. its who walks through you holding your hand and loving you for who you are that matters.. being a friend means loving the warts and all, it doesnt change with how clean your home is or how much money you have or how well you keep your hair.. it goes way way deeper..
Thats the great thing about God.. He loves us.. no conditions, ifs and buts….
He love you … yes YOU…..

But you are the “COOL” kid to me. I’m jealous that you can write so well. Even my husband can string words together far better than me and apparently I’m far more educated than him! I love reading about your life in country SA. I also read Kelley’s and Jodi’s blogs, everyone is different and yet we are the same. We all struggle with things in our lives but we survive them. I love your blog because you are not selling things or giving them away or anything else. You write about your life and its struggles, keep being you and writing about your life.

Remember all the Cool Kids in high school - well, they’re all living off their glory days and reminiscing about themselves way back when, while the rest of us are merrily barrelling along doing way more important stuff than being Cool (and ehhhhh, even Fonzie stopped being Cool when he jumped the shark!)

My new blog is about me being a bit crap at housework. I’m certainly not going to make anyone else less crap at housework by reading it… and maybe I might make them feel less crap about themselves when they realise they’re not alone in not wanting to buy food or wash clothes. Ever. And want to run off to an island (ok, maybe I haven’t mentioned that bit… but yeah, Jacked Off Mummy Island)

Maybe write your blog for an audience of ONE (that being you) and take it from there???

everyone feels that way.

And if those ‘popular’ bloggers don’t then they are just arrogant and full of themselves.

Because we WRITE ON THE INTERNET. 90% of the population thinks we are weird for doing that. So anyone that feels superior to anyone else for blogging is delusional.

And YOU are the reason I started blogging. So you can’t stop.

Ditto, I’m still struggling with caring about what other people think. It is part of our generation I believe that we were brought up to care…wish I could let it go too.

If you find that easy way please do share. I think my biggest issue is I tend to put thoughts in other peoples heads that aren’t really there. I think they are judging me when really they are spending their time judging themselves.
