Sometimes I notice this and sometimes i dont. however I am often reminded how much the Lord looks after us when I have runout of vegies and dad pops in with exactly enough to stretch the food for a few meals.. how awesome.

I have lately been wondering how much the average family is spending on food though as I seems to only get a few bags for $150 these days! However I am thankful I can still provide variety in meals for my growing family . I still think that going back to meat and veg./salad iwould be cheaper and healthier than some meals covered in sauces etc.. maybe not so tasty though.

I have noticed lately that when I set aside money to save or for a set puropse the remaining seems to stretch as far as its needed.. bizzare hey ?

I've noticed the same thing. When I'm careful and put away a small amount on purpose each week, I find I rarely have to dip in to this emergency stash.
When I don't do it, I often find the money disappears into thin air.
