What Colour Is Your Laundry?

I am slowly making my way through the painting of the interior of our house.

VERY slowly!

:)

At the moment I am working on the boys room.

After that it will be Singstar Princess’s room.

The kids are very excited.

Once those rooms are done, I’d like to do the laundry.

I’ve always wanted to have a nice laundry.

Once the shed is built for the games room (this year’s “major” project), some things will be moved out of the laundry.

And I’d like to put in cupboards and a bench top.

In the meantime, I’ve been trying to work out what colour I’d like to paint the walls.

Hence the questions, what colour is your laundry?

Do you like it or not?

I’d make my laundry fully covered in something easy to wash down, preferably with a hose  It is the first place my kids hit when they come inside covered in mud and the walls are always filthy.

Once I had a really old laundry, complete with a double concrete tub.

I painted it deep blue and that against the white goods looked amazing.

My current laundry is black and white with small accents of lime green. I LOVE IT!

My laundry is the same cream as the rest of my home. Very boring, also small.

Mine’s cream, but this is a rental… If we could paint it I’d be going with white and bright green or something similar. something to make me smile if I have to be in there ;)

My current one is blue & I love it. It has a lovely big bench, and the dryer fits under it, and a great big linen cupboard.

I can’t remember what colour my new laundry is, but I suspect based on the rest of the house it is either pink or dark green (yuk!) but will soon be white as will the rest of the house.
