Only remember to use good protection for your feets (real farmer boots with good protection for your toes) I've been stomped from big cows myself:) I remember specially one beefcow which broke 3 toes when I was a young teenager, I'm 34 today and can't still not use these toes :) Actually farminglife and countrylife is something of the most natural and most wonderful way of liveing I can imagine myself. That's been my own life since I was a kid and still have'nt found anything else to compare with which can provide the same environment for creativity or different types of hobbies/bussines. It's a great source for inspiration. So keep on going, you will make it with ease! Can't say I'm so used with sheeps even if it's quite common here in Sweden but usually all animals has one thing in common which might be useful when dealing with them. See them as your own best friends or own kids or familymembers. It's the same with animals as it is with human relations, it need always time to get used to new things and it need time to building up trust and good friendship. They will learn to like you and do what you want when they know you and they know you are relaxed and calm and filled with your own confident. And remember a good tasty "carrot" is never wrong, trick them with something they like to eat and after a time they'll come only by the sound from a bucket or your voice, from that point is magic.
