I love verandahs, even more I love a verandah that has a pergola attached. Yours looks beautiful already and it isn't finished yet. I'm imagining you sitting in a comfy chair at the pergola end, reading a book, casually reaching up to pick another bunch of yummy grapes. It will be a fantastic entertaining area too, when the kids are teenagers and you don't want all the noise of them and a thousand friends in the house. This made me grin a mile wide.
