Photobooks

My apologies for lack of posts and particularly lack of photo’s I promised.  I’m having some trouble with my blog of late (or maybe it’s my computer - not sure).  Anyway, I will keep trying and hopefully succeed sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, I need some help from all you lovely wise people.

I’d like to make a photobook of our trip as a keepsake.  I just can’t decide which company to use.  I have used snapfish before and they were great but didn’t offer much in the way of flexibility to kind of digitally scrapbook (not that I have a clue how to scrapbook anyway).

So, if you’ve made a photobook or know of a good company to use, I’d love to hear your feedback.

Hey Lightening - glad to see you’re back home and had a great holiday!

I have used a few photobook companies and there is a lot of variety in cost and quality. Momento are very good - very high quality, and the software is very easy to use with lots of scrapbooking and layout options but also pretty expensive. Blurb is apparently good too - they are in the US but post to AUS and are much cheaper, but I imagine the quality is not quite as good.

    Hope that helps

My sister (http://bushbabe.blogspot.com) made my daughter a gorgeous book for her 7th birthday - http://www.momento.com.au/

They offer software as well as the finished product - it wasn’t cheap but fantastic finished product.

I’ve only just snapfish for photobooks and have found them to be good quality. I actually just got some for the girls for 2008 and am going to embellish them myself with scrapbook stickers. Don’t know how they’d be if you want to do a LOT of journalling - I tend not to worry about that as it’s all on my blog.

A chick at work bought the rights to her wedding photos and did the photobooks at Officeworks. I was actually impressed with the quality.

I am pretty sure they do it online too.

I had a small one done with Rabbit Photos as a Father’s Day present. Even though I used all the cheapest options, it still turned out really nice :)

I’m a Snapfish fan myself. I was really happy with the ones I sent overseas.
