We get the puzzled looks from fellow campers too, but seriously never miss it. At the park we stayed in recently the lady in reception handed me a TV cable without even asking if we needed it. I think we will only be watching on Monday, Thursday and Fridays. What do you do for your own entertainment? Reading? We went to a birthday party on the weekend, and the kids (maybe 7 and 9) and they were glued to their DS'!!! They didn't participate at all. It is used solely for DVD's. This is in our House. I love it. I love the control over what the kids are watching. Not sure how we will fare next year when W goes to school. We managed with the kids just watching one or two movies in Perth (when it was too cold to be out playing at night). I think it's great you didn't get a TV and even better than no-one has missed it.
