I was there in 2004 (from the USA). My two sons and I headed to White Cliffs and stayed two nights at the Underground Hotel. It was wonderful. I made a friend at White Cliffs, Donna-Lee. She and her husband own Top Level Opals. If you get a chance to visit White Cliff, stop by their shop and say hi from me. I think you will really enjoy meeting her and her family. I can imagine how "funny" it is to drive such long distances with kids, lol ! I got already bored when we came back now from Italy and had to do 1200 km, (746 miles) and we did it in two times. But I remember the days when our son was a kid and we did it in one shot ! I got crazy, so I can imagine how it is for you, lol ! BTW : I do a smiley Saturday !!
