Smiley Saturday - Time For a Makeover

I’m feeling particularly Smiley this week. Plenty to make me smile.  Including a few make-overs happening which are particularly causing me to smile.

MAKEOVER 1 - LAPTOP MAKEOVER

I’ve been wanting a pink laptop for some time now.  Problem is, a lot of them look nice on the outside but I don’t like them on the inside.

Enter…

A way to make your lap-top look however you want.

They took one of my own photograph’s from Floriade and made me one of these:

It’s so much fun having a lap-top that matches my blog!!!  It constantly makes me smile!!!!  :)

MAKEOVER 2 - GARDENING BLOG MAKE OVER

This week, Lightening’s Garden has also had a make-over.  As part of the Ultimate Blog Party, I won a blog makover from Becky at Busy Mama Blog Designs.

She’s been working hard behind the scenes and Lightening’s Garden is now sporting a whole new look.  And I decided to branch out from my usual pink as well!!!  I was going to take a screenshot to show you but instead I’m going to make you go over there to check it out yourself.  ;)

Now, if I could just get around to making that hairdressers appointment….my makeovers would be complete!  LOL.  :)

    Geez, I think I am still living in the middle age ! I didn’t know that you can “dress” your laptop ! that’s a great idea and looks beautiful. It changes from the dull usual black ! I have to look into this when I have more time.

    Now if you could just put the comment bit at the bottom in stead of the top…….then I wouldn’t end up commenting on your next post!

    Well done on the update. I ‘mislaid’ my favourite screen saver when my computer died a few months back and I’ve not managed to retrieve it. I’m such a nit wit when it comes to the technicalities.

    As for the garden, we have some very welcome rain although it has rather put the dampeners on the camping trip.

    Is that your screen saver or is it stuck on the outside of your laptop lid? Because if it’s stuck over the screen, well, how do you view stuff??

    Gattina - yeah, I’m pretty happy with it. :)

    Maddy - if I was at all computer literate, I would. :) I think the comments bits come with the theme and can’t be changed anyway. Not sure. That’s not so good news on the camping front. :)

    River - yeah, not sure if I made that very clear. It’s on the outside of the laptop. Basically on the lid. You’re right, not so good if it covered the screen. ROFLOL.
