The plane crash this week was less then three miles from our home near the Buffalo airport..the planes fly near our homes every day... I don’t have many fond memories of early V days .You reminded me of 21 yrs ago when an unwelcome admirer (aka stalker) guy from my church had another younger guy deliver me a card and ? flowers … I left that church after that incident. Best thing I ever did though.

The year after I’d met my hubby …can’t remember that first one though …the next was when we were 4 days married. So we don’t really celebrate V day much with our wedding day on 10th.

I saw this celebration for the first time two years ago in blogworld ! I was so surprised because if people celebrated Valentine's it was just for young people unmarried. But this was 40 years ago, of course, lol ! But I have a nice story of a real old couple 70 and 89 ! I have never celebrated Valentine’s day, just because it didn’t exist !
