I love windmills. They speak to me of a slower, more peaceful era.

Ah there’s something romantic about an Aussie windmill, with the wind blowing the rusty blades around, the screech of the pump pulling the water up, and the arm swaying in the breeze. Generally found in a paddock alone but standing tall! Proud of its job and stature!

Yet those painted with footy team colours do not have the same effect on me at all!

We need more snaps of these historical monuments please!

What a lovely picture. My parents have a windmill on their property and use it as a highlight of their B&B. I know you’re all the way down under but your picture reminds me of home in Texas. Does the windmill acutally pump water?

Have a great day. It should be warmer today around 70F.
