Glad you had a wonderful Christmas.

I think *I* got the balance about right as far as presents go, but with Christmas with our family and some 40 people for lunch, well, you can imagine how many presents they got. They love them all though.

“Boxing day…….a little on the warm side…” It sure was. So warm that I jumped in the pool fully clothed to splash around with the kids. What a great day!

We also had a nice Christmas together with our son, and a lot of gifts to unwrap, lol ! We returned to Brussels on 25th and stayed just the two of us (with the cats of course !)

You’re right it changes every year. We found that with so many relatives abroad and the generous locals that we were more or less buried in presents. If we couple that with two December birthdays by new year we could practically open our own toy shop.

As a result we took drastic action a few years back and told them that Father Christmas brought three presents and a stocking each to try and get a grip on the turmoil. Everything else is gifts under the tree for friends and family [still a tonne!]

How lovely to hearing ‘boxing day’ again.
