   Oh dear tears are not what I planned but I needed them.

   Thanks for the reminder of what is precious!

   My family was going to picnic Christmas lunch this year and I suggested that it be at my parents place, not because they are well set up but because it may be the last time we spend there with both parents… its easy to take them for granted and think they will always be here but let’s not this Christmas.. let’s be thankful for each of our blood relatives, whether we get on or not! Jesus came and died for them too…

    Lynette - so true. We made an extra effort this year with a similar thought in mind. No matter the struggles, we never know what another year might bring or how far away family might be (or if we’ll even have them).
