Smiley Saturday - Dove Chocolate

smiley-saturday-2.JPG

A little over a week ago, Farmboy wanted to cheer me up so he bought me a packet of Dove Caramel chocolates. The chocolate alone is enough to make me smile but I also enjoy the little sayings they have inside each wrapper. Here are a few of them:

* My idea of housework is to sweep a room ….. with a glance.

* Too much of a good thing is….. wonderful.

* Change is inevitable….. except from vending machines.

* I don’t love chocolate…. I worship, respect and adore it!

* Save earth…. it’s the only planet with chocolate.

* Don’t you look good naked…. I’m talking about the chocolate.

* I’m not ageing…. I’m ripening to perfection

* Borrow chocolate from pessimists….they don’t expect it back.

* Beauty is in the eye of the choc-holder.

When it comes to chocolate, there are very few types that don’t make me smile. But I am particularly partial to this Dove Caramel - lucky that Farmboy knows me well. :)

Feel free to join us for Smiley Saturday and add your link to the Mr Linky below (please, only Smiley Saturday posts and not links to your blog without a Smiley Saturday post). If you’ve not participated before, please read my Smiley Saturday page for more information.

Happy Smiley Saturday everyone! Smile

    Lucky you and chocolates !!!!

    I just opened my birthday present and MIL had sent some mint Lindzt chocolates. Of course, les enfants could smell them from a mile away, so I had to share, lol.

    Love the sayings too.

    Mmmmm chocolates are good. Except the Ferrero Rocher that my sister in law had this morning. It expired in 1995 - she found the unopened packet when cleaning out her Dads cupboards and forgot to check the use by date before eating one. :gag: Rancid Hazelnut :gag:

    I keep forgetting to ask you if you would like another Dreampot? We have one that I got years ago when I was working for the Caravan Industry Association. I don’t use it anymore and was wondering if you’d like it as a spare? They can be handy to have one cooking a hot meal in and the other with some ice and bottles of drink in the backseat of the car. Let me know if you’d like it and maybe if you make a trip through Melbourne at some point in your caravan we could bring it to where you are staying. I can’t post it though, way to big and I’d worry about it getting damaged.

    My life was consumed with chocolate ganache cakes for the bake sale at school today - apart from the toothache!

    Forget chocolate…right now I’m eating tiny squares of your Grandma’s Lemon Slice recipe. It’s the second batch I’ve made and this time I accidentally put too much lemon juice in the mix AND in the icing. WOW it’s good! We like things lemony…
