Lightening Online

I’m terrible when it comes to procrastination when I get given a blog award. I think “I’ll get to that later” and then forget. So I’ve decided I really need to deal with them straight away. I would hate for people to think I didn’t appreciate them. Which is far from the truth.

Anyway, Tiff from Three Ring Circus (who is obviously well-loved based on the number of awards she’s been given) has passed on to me the Brillante Weblog Award. Isn’t it purdy? Thanks Tiff.

Here are the guidelines:

1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded it to you.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Add links to these blogs on your blog.
5. Leave a message for your nominee on their blog.

This is the bit I always find most difficult with awards. I would hate for anyone to feel I didn’t love their blog just because I didn’t choose them this time. I do try to share them around but it’s not always easy to remember. So, if I don’t pick you this time, I’m sorry - I hope it doesn’t make you feel bad.

I have to start with Craig Harper who writes a life changing blog. I doubt he has time for dealing with blog awards, busy guy that he is. But you should check out his blog regardless as it is amazing.

Lisa at The Tin House - I love her blog and read it regularly but can’t comment right now because my browser doesn’t open the comment window enough for me to fill it in. Fingers crossed she reads this because I can’t leave a comment to let her know about it.

Kate at Our Red House - another blog I enjoy reading and can’t comment on at the moment. Hopefully she’ll know how much I enjoy reading her blog this way instead. And she recently published her 400th post which sounds like a lot to me (not that I have a clue how many I’m up to).

Sharon who often makes me laugh with her posts. She has a wonderful way of expressing herself and is very honest in her writings.

We are THAT Family - a blog that looks at life with humor and one of the few in my google reader that doesn’t offer a full feed (pity).

Stitch Pink - a blog with a cause and in my favourite colour too!!!

There are so many amazing blogs that I read (more than I probably should read really - I seem to be too attached to the computer these days) so I’m going to leave it there and hope that as this award makes it’s way around, it makes it’s way to lots more wonderful blogs.
