Kin - it feels like we've been saying that for years. But you're right. The caravan is a Jayco Expanda.

Journeyer - we could although it would mean packing all the winter gear when our plans were to head North (where we wouldn't need the heavy winter gear). We'll see. Something will work out. The frustrating thing about the Playstation is that every game is different. Some are simple to get into and others require a degree in "playstation". ;)

Cuileann - thanks. I've figured out one part but getting the game to where Trailer Boy wants it continues to be an interesting challenge. Can't wait until he's old enough to do it for himself.

Dina - thanks. Went out to netball training last night which was exactly what I needed. Ran some of the stress out. Feeling a bit better today and DS is not quite as whingy so hopefully we're past the worst of it.

Bettina - It was only going to be for a couple of nights and in a nearby town rather than the snow. We have drawn the line at taking the camper trailer - that would be just a teeny bit too cold. At least the caravan comes with a reverse cycle air conditioner.

River - LOL. My freezer could do with defrosting but it's not quite bad enough to go tobogganing on. ;0

Does your freezer need defrosting? Scrape out a bowlful of frost, call it snow and send the kids outside to make miniature snowmen, or snowballs. It won't last long, but they'll get the idea. And, like they ^ said, the snow will be there again next year.

awww, I hope you figured the game out.

And Kin is right. The snow will be back next year. I dunno that I'd want to go camping in the snow (in new flash campervan or not) anyhow. BRRRRRRRR

I bet you're all disappointed at the delay in getting your caravan, but the wait will be worth it. Are you able to combine snow with your longer trip? Our upgrade is on hold too - we're not saving so well at the moment.

No tips for the Playstation sorry. Hey, that might be a good IM niche... Parents' Guide to Playstation ;-)

Ugh, sick kids are really draining!

The snow will be back next year, and by then you'll have broken in the caravan and it will be a much more comfortable trip. I can't imagine wanting to travel more than a couple of hours from home on my first trip in a new caravan - but I'm paranoid like that.

I was thinking of your caravan yesterday while watching an old episode of the Great Outdoors. Might have to hunt down the design if you've already posted it?
