I still think it's a step forward from the awful dolphin/whale/estuary choking plastic bags. I never got to the artyculture parade this year. Too busy drinking coffee and handing out lollies! Mum was telling me last week that the 'green' garbage bags that are meant to be biodegradable actually aren't every 'green' at all. They are meant to be broken down by including them in composting and if they just go to landfill then they don't break down properly producing methane gases etc contributing as much to global warming as what using non degradable plastic would. They are a bit of a catch if you aren't aware. They look great!!!
