I wonder if everyone else knows that even the biodegradable plastic bags won't break down if sent to landfill. they break down when left exposed to sun and air, but since a lot of people use their plastic bags for their rubbish, which is sent to landfill, there's still going to be a problem.

I guess at least the green bags are reusable and not thrown away after a single use, so there shouldn't be as many of them? I still think it's a step forward from the awful dolphin/whale/estuary choking plastic bags.

I never got to the artyculture parade this year. Too busy drinking coffee and handing out lollies! Can't wait to see more photo's.

They look great!!!

Mum was telling me last week that the 'green' garbage bags that are meant to be biodegradable actually aren't every 'green' at all. They are meant to be broken down by including them in composting and if they just go to landfill then they don't break down properly producing methane gases etc contributing as much to global warming as what using non degradable plastic would.

They are a bit of a catch if you aren't aware.

They are fantastic. So creative.

I think the tennis balls one is my favourite. Though I would never wear it...
