Smiley Saturday - A Beautiful Surprise Parcel
What happened to me this week actually made me cry before it made me smile. But the tears were the kind when you’ve been touched so deeply that no other emotion seems to suffice.
Farmboy went to get the mail while I was in the chemist. When I came out he asked me if I was expecting a parcel. I didn’t think I was which made me rather curious as to the contents of this “mystery parcel”.
Inside, I found this:
A PINK parcel!!! It was obvious that the sender (and yes, there was name on the label so I knew who it was from at this point) knows me well and had taken special care to wrap the parcel in my favourite colour.
A beautiful card - again in pink!
However, despite the wrapping and card, I was still unprepared for the beauty of what lay within the parcel.
Isn’t it stunning? I wish I was more eloquent with words to express how much I LOVE this blanket.

It is simply amazing and warm and it does more than warm my body, it warms my heart and everytime I see it, it makes me smile.
THANK YOU Michelle. I know you chose to make and send this as a thank you but this…? Wow!!! You have totally blown me away with your kindness and generosity. It’s going to bring a smile to my face every day.
