The Bloggest Loser Challenge - Check In 2

Butter and a butter knifeImage via WikipediaAnyone know what week we are “supposed” to be up to? I know that this is my second “progress” post but I’m not sure if I’m a week behind others.

Not that it really matters in the scheme of things. The most important thing for me is progress and using this as an opportunity for some accountability.

So, how did this week go?

Better.

The “no butter on toast” challenge: I DID IT!!! Go me!!!

I did have butter on my hamburger roll on Friday night. Deliberately. I don’t want to go the “all or nothing” approach and give up so I tried to only focus on the “no butter on toast or bread” for this week.

Exercise didn’t go as well though. I had several days where I didn’t do any. Which isn’t all that great considering I’m trying to build the habit of some form of exercise every day.

BUT.

I did lose 0.5kg which is my weekly goal.

Total weight loss for the challenge so far: 600g (500g this week and 100g last week)

Considering I went to a birthday party last night and really ate more than I needed to, I’m happy with that.

My challenge for this week will be to keep a diary of my exercise each day and publish it as part of my check-in next week.

Plus, continue my “no butter on toast or bread” challenge for another week.

How did others go this week?

    Good on ya, Lightening :)
I’ve scooped my buttocks up and over the arsed-up exercise bike seat and have managed to wrestle with it on numerous occasions. No idea about weight, too scared to weigh myself lol :P

Bugger. Just before reading this I finished an enormous serving of self-saucing chocolate pudding…….
I’m still avoiding my scales. I figure if I can still do up my jeans and work pants, then I’m okay. Sort of.
I have tried to eat less, (smaller portions), so if the pants start to feel a little less tight, then I’ll hop on the scales and see.

Ok. I’ve decided to start again. Again.

So, this is my first week. I think I will aim to exercise three times. Should be attainable. Surely.

I still can’t wear a swimming suit in public…and on my kitchen counter this very moment is two slabs of fudge (purchased yesterday by hubby) I have been eating…

So there will be no loosing pounds this week..however, I’m happy…and thats my goal.

good luck to those with will power..never been my strong point..

Bettina - good luck with getting back to the gym. It’s hard when you’re busy with visitors to maintain that type of thing isn’t it? :)

Jayne - I still think regular exercise is more important than weight. Problem is, mine likes to go UP too easily. :( Well done on the bike!!! As for “weight”. Yeah, I know. Spammers like to use the word too.

River - Mmmm chocolate self-saucing pudding. A FABULOUS winter treat!!!

Sharon - every day is an opportunity to start over!!! :) You CAN do this!

Dorothy - I think it’s great that you’re happy and happy where you’re at. In my mind it IS about balance so treats are important too.
