Disconnected
Image via WikipediaI wonder if I could sue for emotional trauma caused by being disconnected from the internet for a WHOLE. 24. Hours. Shouldn’t there be a law against that or something????
This is a quick message to tell you that I’m fine. Actually, I’m NOT fine. I’m a mixed up emotional wreck (which actually has nothing, or at least very little, to do with my lack of internet connection).
BUT, I am still alive. And still here. And back online.
And I will attempt to write you a “real” post later today. We’ll see how my day pans out. And how I’m feeling. And if inspiration strikes. Or runs away scared of the crazy woman who can’t stop crying (and no, it’s not the right time of the month to blame it on “women’s” issues).
I just have issues full stop.
Think I might go and have a shower.
I have written a semi-decent post about my $25 gardening challenge, if anyone is interested. I’ve set myself a goal to grow $25 per week of food in the garden. It’s going to take me a few years to accomplish but I like nice tangible goals. So each Thursday I try to write an update on my gardening blog about what I’ve harvested that week and other moves I’ve made toward reaching the goal (like the fruit trees we purchased last week).
So, feel free to head on over and tell me how awesome I am. Because I’m totally needy like that. And while you’re there, feel free to click on my Amazon widget and buy stuff so that Amazon will give me money toward my Amazon wishlist. Or not.

You are really going to need that mobile broadband when you travel aren’t you? (pot/kettle)
Take a deeeeeeeeeeep breath and repeat after me-
I will not murder my ISP today.
“So, feel free to head on over and tell me how awesome I am.”
bwahahahaha
I don’t know if you know…. but you’re kind of a big deal. Much love
Stuffy - indeed. Or there’s gonna be trouble!!!!
Jayne - might need to take 1021 deep breaths to get over this one. LOL.
Horse - Awww….really??? I don’t feel like a “big deal” but it’s nice of you to say.
Every town you pass through or stop near, make sure they have an internet cafe. That way you’ll get your “fix”.
You are awesome, you are awesome, you are awesome, repeat after me Lightening is awesome…..
Oh, they would’ve been sued many times over by now if it could have been done for that. LOL. So many people are addicted. Your gardening idea sounds awesome! I hope you can meet your goal soon. I think if you do, you should be able to write a book about it and share all those great tips! Oh, and yes, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
River - thanks. Sounds like a plan. You are awesome too you know!!!
Teeni - LOL. Thank you. Perhaps I’ll just write a blog about it.
Oh yeah, I’m already doing that. I think it’ll take a while before I reach the “$25 per week” goal on a regular basis but it does give me something to aim for.
Hahaha .. I can relate to being off the internet - it’s wierd, almost as if you’ve lost a line to the world, that you don’t know what’s happening.
Even scarier is to try no electronic equipment at all (no TVs, iPods, radios, etc). After the shock period, it is actually quite liberating
