Smiley Saturday - Nurturing M.E.
Paying more attention to my own needs has been great timing this week as my body continues to struggle with withdrawing from my meds. It’s bearable though. In some ways it’s been quite a BIG week.
Monday my brother and his girls visited the farm.
Tuesday I had a life coaching session (I’m still to finish writing the post about that)
Wednesday was my day to head into town and my GYM BUDDY was back (yahhh!!!!)
Thursday was a nice quiet ME day with sleep-in followed by a 2 hour soak in the bath-tub and then out to netball training.
Friday I took Trailer Boy for a drive to a nearby town where we had a casual day of browsing shops and a brief visit to a friends place.
In keeping with my theme for June of self-nurturing, I wanted to share with you this simple chair yoga video (that I think Carole tweeted the link for during the week?). It’s simple, you can do it right in front of your computer and it takes less than 10 minutes per day. But it will leave you feeling GREAT!
Anyone like to join me in my challenge to do this yoga every day for the next week?

Fantastic Smiley Saturday Lightening. You have heaps of good things to be smiling about.
My Smiley Saturday is about the unexpected kindness of friends and the wrestling :D.
Please include me on your list of Smiley Saturday participants, I’m pretty sure I’ve done more than 3 now
Just popped over to lend a little support to a fellow Traveling Garment! I found you via Beggars Shot Glass. I’ve been traveling ’round the globe & blogging about it for over a year…it has been a very uplifting & fulfilling experience! Maybe someday we will bump into each other, or even hook up?

That Yoga chair looks a lot more relaxing and beneficial than the exercise chair in my Smiley Saturday video. It’s neat that you got to have some family from the city come to visit. This is my first time participating.
oops messed the linky.
Great reasons to smile .Those yoga chair exercises look challenging - I ‘ll try it once maybe … if I can .
Lovely you got to see your Sydney relatives. Looked like they had fun.
I would love a 2hr soak in the bath … maybe for my birthday.
Can you link me please to your SS page.
I can’t believe I forgot to drop by to sign the Mr. Linky and leave a comment this morning after posting mine at Small Reflections, but I’m glad to do it now. Seems like you had nifty experiences this week. I always find it easier to get myself to the gym when I’m meeting a friend. I look forward to learning more about your Life Coach session. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
I think you can count me as a regular
Thanks Marita.
Will hopefully get to that list sometime before next Saturday.
Welcome Olga - wouldn’t it be great if the travelling bra and t-shirt hooked up somewhere along the way.
Maisie - your Smiley Saturday post was fabulous. Thanks for joining us.
Trish - have fixed the linky for you. And will definitely add you to my list on Smiley Saturday page. Hopefully soon-ish.
Storyteller - Hopefully I’ll get to that post soon. Thanks for joining us again this week.
Cat - indeed.
