I have to admit, housecleaning for me is definitely therapy. I truly do love to do it; it gives me some odd sense of peace and the mind-numbing is totally a plus!

Lightening,

Still more grey and drizzly. I'm annoyed for two reasons:
a) it gives me migraines
b) my mummy is in town (wahoo!) and it's poopie she has such sucky weather while in town! We plan to go for a day trip tomorrow (Saturday) and it'll suck if it's rainy all day! gah!

I suppose we could always go check out some of the indoor exhibits around town if it's too bad to go driving.

Good luck with the housework, when you're bored with yours, you're welcome to do mine. I'll treat you to Tims and Buddy will give you lots of cuddles.

Ciao!

Bettina - I think the physical exercise of netball training helped as it was clearer this morning. Not so crash hot now - I'm very weary.

Marita - I'm not a big fan of hanging washing on the line. :( Weak arms make it an arduous task. And my cooking doesn't every seem to turn out the same!!! The tangible bit though I get - you can see (and taste) the result of your efforts.

Lynette - thanks. :) I should do some more tuning in to nature.

Sharon - I did CRAP!!! LOL. But I'm okay with that. I remember a few weeks back feeling that confused about WD. I have a newfound respect for those players who shift positions during a game. My head was all turned around and upside down. Especially when I had to throw the ball BACK into the goal ring instead of turning around and throwing down the court. A very interesting experience.

Lynette - I contemplated not going to training but really wanted to. Plus the physical exertion tends to help. It was strange though - I kind of felt like I was walking around in a bubble, not really connecting with anyone. Very strange.

Maggie - I hate it when it's constantly grey and drizzly. One thing I do like about our climate is that even during winter we get some sunny days (actually quite a few really). Not warm. Just sunny.

Tracey - I can't increase the meds. I just have to walk this journey. The highest dose my body would tolerate wasn't really doing enough. There are 2 possible outcomes right now. One if that I'll come completely off meds and once withdrawal is done, be able to stay off them (if my body has recovered) OR I need to try something different (which also requires my body to be completely free of this particular drug). I just need to keep focusing on being patient and kind to myself until this period of time is over.

Gemisht - trying hard not to fight it. But you know me, impatient as ever! ;) And when it effects my blogging, well that just SUCKS!!!

River - Yeah, work can really get in the way of life, can't it?

Tracey:-do you mean a pre-cooked bbq chook? Because those are filled with (yucky) stuffing which wouldn't go to well in a soup pot.......
I find housework easy and soothing, I really love puttering about getting my house in order and meals cooked. Not much time for it these days though. If I could afford to leave work I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I hope your brain finds it way home soon :) As you said, sometimes mind numbing is good. We all need days like that - it gives us a chance to recharge a bit. And if its more than a day, so what, just enjoy it. Don't fight it.

Increase those meds :)

Or, do what I do, and go to Coles, pick up a BBQ chook, a bag of pre-chopped veges, chuck the lot in a pan of boiling water, throw in some chicken stock, and Bob's your proverbial!!!

There are days when we all need some 'sameness' and repetitive activities. I can only hope I find something like that today at work as lately I feel I have the attention span of a toddler.

It's been grey and drizzly all week :(

No rush on witty posts, it's reassuring to know there are others out there we do blog about their household work.

Cheers,
Maggie

You don't have to be vibrant and witty all the time! You did well tonight, learning a new position. Some great forward leads. Sorry I meant to tell you but needed to come home.

Dont apologise Lightening! We all have days and weeks like this ! It is good to hear though that you can enjoy the creativity of making soup and getting clothes ironed!

Sometimes I enjoy days that are predictable like that at work and other times I need more challenge. THey tend to fall exactly with the mood I am in which is good!

Cant wait for some more posts when you are ready - no hurry.

In the meantime, listen to the wind and rain falling.... the autumn leaves blowing and the birds singing each morning as they wake to the sunrise!
