Twitter Finally Has Me In It’s Clutches
Image via WikipediaI have been valiantly avoiding the Twitter craze currently blazing across the internet.
I don’t NEED another addiction to distract me from my blogging addiction which distracts me from ummm….. housework and stuff.
However, I have finally CAVED.
And if you’re at all intimate with my sidebar, you may have noticed a little Twitter box appear.
Where if you simply cannot get enough of my raving lunacism on my 265 blogs (yeah, I know. I don’t have quite that many. Yet.) then you can get nice short, sharp updates over there in my sidebar.
There you’ll find interesting announcements such as “I’m cleaning the toilet” and “I’m wiping my kids nose”.
Right now I am currently working on my stalking following list. I’m hoping if I stalk follow enough people, perhaps one or two will decide to stalk follow me back.
Because a Twitterer without followers is like a blog without readers, yeah?
So, if you are a Twitterer OR a Twitteree (or whatever they’re called), feel free to follow ME!!!!
You can find me here:
Okay, I was going to put a link for you but I can’t work out what it is. Doh! (I need a Homer Simpson smiley!)
You can find me by searching for “Lightening”.
Hang on a minute, I found it. Here it is:
If you follow me, I’ll follow you and we’ll all live happily ever after in Twitterland. Or something like that.

use twhirl for your twitter, you’ll love it!
Thanks for the heads-up Fussy. Have just downloaded twhirl and it’s making life much easier!!!
I haven’t caved and probably won’t, lol. But my boyfriend did! He’s a twitterer now! And I keep trying to tell him that he’s a blogger now because twitter is basically like a blog in my opinion, but he refuses to acknowledge that he *might* be a blogger. So funny!
Face it woman. You are addiction in the ourest of senses.
You are going to love, love, love Twitter! It is awesome! See you there.
Great to see you on Twitter. I just followed you.
I agree that it can be addictive. However, with balance, you can also get a lot of interesting insights from it too. Cheers!
Janette is so right. It can be addictive but at the same time you can get something out of it. For example, I’ve met lots of interesting new people and have had contact with many of these in my short few weeks of twittering. And besides, any distraction from housework and stuff is worth tinkering with

Katie - I’m struggling with the character limit. Blogging has so much more freedom to talk LOTS. It’ll be an interesting discipline to learn.
Alice - yeah, I *might* have an addiction problem.
Lin - hope so. As long as it doesn’t distract me too much from blogging. It’s very fast isn’t it?
Janette - Thanks for that.
Still getting my head around it but I’m getting there. Am I following you yet? I’m trying to keep up so that I’m following anyone who is following me.
I love Twitter. But you knew that already…
