Menu Plan Monday

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve actually written a Menu Plan for the week. But the disorganisedness of this house is starting to really frustrate me so I’m starting with a menu plan and hoping the rest all just falls into place.

With the onset of cooler weather, I’ve been left with lettuces and tomatoes that could do with using up so they’ll feature a little in the menu plan this week.

Monday - Tuna Patties

Tuesday - Spaghetti Bolognese (in crockpot)

Wednesday - Tacos

Thursday - Out

Friday - Hamburgers

Saturday - Out

Sunday - Quiche

Keeping it nice and simple this week. Smile

Edited to Add:  I’ve decided to add this to the “menu plan Monday” meme so if you’re interested in more menu planning inspiration, you can find it at I’m An Organizing Junkie.   Just a word of warning - the site can be rather slow to load in some browsers.

I try to get my kids to help me plan our meals and this is the type of menu plans we have too. I like them as they are easy to cook and the kids eat it - what more could you ask for.

Nothing wrong with simple! Tacos is a good idea, haven’t had them in a while! I might sit down and do my menu plan right now, off shopping tomorrow so I’d better be prepared. Taking DH and kids with me and that means if I don’t have a list (and a cattle prod would come in handy) then the groceries get out of control because they DH likes to try every new spice and seasoning in existence, DS loves his snack food and DD lurks in the beauty isle looking for some new brilliant remedy for her skin, or a new nice tasting (yes I know, you aren’t supposed to eat it!) lip balm.

It will be a lovely family day out. Repeat 10 times.
