I do not have a 'control' journal, just a calendar and notebook where everything stays, like your homemaking journal. I really should follow it more often but my sink is always shiny :). I, too, have a control journal, but I haven't opened it up in months! :) But, I do still follow the basic Flylady ideas - baby steps, spending just a few minutes everyday cleaning, trying to keep up with things so they don't get out of hand. I used to have the daily themes like you do, but it just doesn't work for me right now. I think when my daughter is a little older it will be easier to stick to something like that again. Lovely binder! Someone besides me who wants to wave sharp pointy things in the general direction of flylady. I skipped over to her website several months ago and couldn't believe what I was reading. Polishing the sink and keeping it clean by stuffing the dirty dishes in the cupboard under it???? WTF?? Is she trying to pretend that "real" people don't live, eat, work and play there? she probably has a few good points but I couldn't get past the polished sink bit.
