Got me Some Twins
I guess you can call 2 kittens that are from the same litter twins??? They’re nothing alike but you get that with twins don’t you? I always thought it would be nice to have twins.
Our kitten, Max went missing in October. I was too upset to blog about it.
Plus I thought if I said he was gone then I was losing all hope that he might come back. He didn’t come back. I still miss him. As you do. When you love a pet.
I wasn’t so sure I wanted to get any more kittens. *sigh* I don’t need more sadness by getting attached to more pets.
But we have mice. And snakes. And cats are really a good pet to have on a farm for those 2 reasons. Plus they’re cute.
So we saw an advert giving away Ginger kittens. And I nagged Farmboy to ring until he got hold of them. We thought we’d just take one. But they said we could have two. And it’s nice for them to have some companionship. So we got two.
Silly little things they are.
This morning one of them got himself stuck between the glass door and the screen.
Aren’t they funny the things they’ll do and the places they get themselves stuck in?
So, now we’re going to have ourselves a little caption fun.
You can come up with a caption for photo 1 OR photo 2. Or you can come up with a funny caption for both. Please leave your caption ideas in the comments section and indicate which photo it is a caption for.
Will there be a prize??? Indeed. Winners will receive one of these fantabulous, hot off the press, just arrived today, “Lightening - It’s Pink!!!” magnetic calendars.
These are a limited edition so make sure you get your entries in so you have a chance to snaffle one.
Or get your entries in anyway so we can all have a giggle.
Winning entries (I haven’t decided how many there’ll be yet) will be published as part of my Smiley Saturday post this weekend.
So get those thinking caps on and see if you can come up with something to make us all smile.

They are so sweet…kittens are so much fun. I have two of my own…but they aren’t that small anymore. My one kitten jumped at the screen when he saw your’s…lol…must like them!!!
That’s so sad about Max.
These two are such cuties. And photo 1 is a classic!
*hehe* They are so cute! Congratulations on your new family additions.
Love the pics of the little monkey smooshed in the door
I lost a kitty once to snake bite. We found him - he almost made it home. Subsequent kitties have been indoor only to prevent that heartbreak. I’m sorry you lost Max.
Hey, was that Vistaprint? I got me some calendars recently from there - magnetic ones.
For free! Cos like all their stuff is free, you just pay for shipping.
Taylor -
Kittens are funny when they see other kittens/cats aren’t they. I remember Max’s reaction to a mirror was always hilarious!!!
Katie - blogging has obviously become a family affair around here. My DH was like “quick, get a photo for your blog”.
Leigh - thanks. It makes me smile every time I see them.
Snoskred - Yeah. Max went walkabout and we figure he possibly came a cropper before he found his way home. As awful as it may sound, I’d rather lose a cat than one of the kids. We had a snake in our back yard just recently.
Yep, the calendars are from Vista Print. I ordered myself a bunch of stuff and all up paid $13.51 in postage which I thought was great. I got those, some business cards, small magnets, notepad and a few sheets with letterhead. Not many of each (other than the business cards) but then I don’t need many either. I have one on my fridge and it makes me smile every time I see it.
P.S. If anyone wants to order stuff from Vista Print - don’t forget my affiliate link under “shop”.
LMAO @ those kittens.
Great photos
Hello!!!! Where was the “excessive cuteness ahead” warning!?! They are gorgeous!!!!
(You must be rubbing off on me. I just used a ridiculous number of exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!)
I’m useless at funny, but I’m a sucker for pink so I’ll give the caption thing a go…
Nope, I’m coming up empty. Oh, how I wish I was funny.
So sorry to hear about Max. You didn’t tell us, but I can understand that you were upset. My cat was really sick over the Australia Day long weekend and I thought that he was a gonner. But he has pulled through thank goodness.
And LMAO at the photos. Those 2 look like double trouble
And here goes a caption for Photo 2:
“Hey, when I said get that fly off my back I didn’t mean that you had to use the flyscreen as a sieve”. Boom, boom, terrible isn’t it.
Lightening: For Photo #1: “Great…I’ll end up on Youtube before you can say Meow! Thanks Mum! Ruin my chances with the ladies.”
Thanks for the giggle, glad Buddy is long past the kitten stage and doing silly things like that.

#Photo 2: “I just love Hide & Seek….. They won’t find me hiding here!”
Jayne - glad to hear they made you smile!
Cerebralmum - LOL. Exclamation marks rock!!!!!!!!!
Actually I think “Oh, how I wish I was funny”, is actually quite a funny caption!!!!!
Gemisht - glad to hear your cat pulled through. Well, I thought your comment was funny! Terrible can be funny!!!! Especially when you’re as tired as me right now.
Maggie - thanks for your comment. Kittens are fun but they’re GREAT at ruining fly screens!!!! LOL at the youtube. If only I had the means…… must add digital video camera to my wishlist.
Babyamore -
Love the “spideycat” comment.
Socko - Perhaps my youngest would have a better chance playing hide and seek with the kittens. He doesn’t get it either!
