Smiley Saturday

It went really well. The kids were great. A little excitable but you expect that. They loved all the making activities we had organised. I sure was glad we had 4 adults there though. We were VERY busy!!!
DH overheard one of the boys as they were leaving telling his mum “this was the most awesome party ever”! Hearing that really made me smile.
It was a bit of an effort but the effort paid off in seeing a bunch of kids having a great time together.
I was so pleased with the way they got into the “puppet biscuits”. Some very interesting characters were created. I’ll try and get some pictures posted a bit later today.
In the meantime, hope you can all find something to smile about this week. If you want to join in, feel free. Add a link to your “Smiley Saturday” post below so others can enjoy your posts too!

So glad it went well!
Not feeling very smiley today. Perhaps Surly Saturday would be more apt.
Looking forward to reading others so I can live vicariously through them.
glad the party went off so well!!
Kelley needs a chilli chocolate puppet methinks
Kez -thanks
Kelley - {{{{HUGS}}}} The thing is, if you wrote a “Surly Saturday” post it would probably still make people smile. You seem to have a way with words. It’s a bit like when I tell my DH I’m grumpy - he always laughs. Apparently I’m funny when I’m grumpy.
You’ve had a trying week - be kind to yourself.
Bettina - chilli chocolate puppet????? Eeeeeewwwwwww……….. LOL. Yes, I did see the conversation about chilli chocolate but I still don’t believe Kelley. I’m gunna stick with plain old nuts or caramel in my chocolate thanks.
yeah, I’m a hazelnut in chocolate girl myself lol
:O my hubby laughs at me when I’m grumpy too. And then he calls me a grumblebee!!
Hi, Glad you had a good time with the party.
I recently got into dark choccie with almonds ~ it’s healthy you know …. lol
sure it is Nikki………. two major food groups there…….. chocolate and protein! lol
Mmmmm…..I’d say you guys are making me want chocolate. But I’ve been scoffing leftovers from the party so I’m sugared out.
I LOVE Ferrero Rocher and Lindt Hazlenut Balls so hazlenut is definitely on my list. BUT I also LOVE roast almond cadbury AND chocolate coated almonds. If I had to choose between all of those - I’d choose ALL!!!!
Oh my stars! This is so beautiful. I did my first Smiley Saturday and chocolate features.
Chocolate… how I crave you.
mmmmmhhmmmmm
See I knew there was a good reason I liked you. You have the same taste as me in chocolate!! lmao
That’s it m’dear - once you agree on chocolate you’ve gotta be buddies for life!!!!
Anja - thanks for joining in smiley saturday. Talking about chocolate is enough to make ANYONE smile.
I think I forgot to have lunch today….but tis okay, I’ve been nibbling chocolate all afternoon!!!!
Party sounds like fun. I’m glad it went well. Might have to steal the idea when my kidlets are a little older.
I think the party idea rocks - especially if boys liked it.So glad it went off with a hit.
Chocolate always makes me smile … i eat it every day.
Go for it Marita - most good ideas have come from somewhere and get modified, passed on etc.
Thanks Trish - yeah, chocolate always makes me smile too - until I look in the mirror!!!!! ROFLOL.
