*sob* *sob* NOW she tells me. And no, I don't pay any attention to what farmboy brings things home in. I'm pretty sure those parts don't come with chocolate so they are of NO interest to me! LOL.

Just a thought. Ring me next time you need brown paper bags. Have you noticed the bags your hubby brings his spare parts home in? Yes, they are plain brown paper ones. I can give you as many as you like....free!

Hope the party goes well and looking forward to seeing photos :)

Thanks River - they were a hit with the kids (and parents) too. :) Photo's coming.... (when I get them onto the computer)

Jayne - what a fabulous idea. We gave Leighton one of the bought ones for Christmas and he LOVES it. I've not thought of making them myself though. The Bomb might have to have a dinosaur party next year.... :)

Lynette - I think my mum has always been able to see me in some kind of party running business. Where you actually organise and run the party. I'm not sure many parents would pay what it costs in time though - to do a good job. I do find parties fun though. I think I'd be too much of a perfectionist to make party favours for others. Interesting thought though. :)

Sounds wonderful adn i know how much buzz we get making party bag favours and games. I often used little plastic animals, critters and insects inside pass the parcel and the boys loved the scary creatures! Last year at my 12 yo's party we had those old fashioned games like choc game and the donut game but instead of hanging it on a string I put the donuts inside small plastic dessert bowls on a ground sheet and they had to get on all 4's and was that hilarious to watch as some tipped their bowls upside down like dogs do and couldnt get them back up! They laughed and laughed! So did we! I often decorated the food using toothpicks of flags, homemade flags of the theme ideas etc and kids love them. A friend and I often thought we could start a party favour business - have you ever thought of that? Hope you dont get too tired out! Enjoy! LS

Great ideas, very clever. Sounds like there'll be fun all round :)
Something cheap and easy the kids can take home with them is to buy the huge $2 packet of little plastic dinosaurs from the Reject shop (or whatever the kids are really into) and put them into tin foil patty pans, fill with plaster of Paris and let them play archaeologist when they get home ;)
