Have never had redipred but have had 2 boys with croup before! One so ill he went in the ambulance one night, other one was fine with saline in a nebuliser. However that barky croup cough is never nice to deal with at all. I now use a home remedy that my mum used on me for years and it works. (I used to laugh at her once until I was desperate) It uses a solution that you wet a piece of flannel with and attach to thir singlet or top and they sleep with it on. I have used this when away at my inlaws in the country in dire emergency and it has worked within seconds. Uses vinegar, methylated spirits and water - called a 123!

Pray you are all feeling better real soon.

LS

{{HUGS}} on your pain..

I love redipred! Billy used to get croup a fair bit - touch wood he hasn't had it for a while so may be growing out of it. It's so scary.. I remember the first time when we had to take him to hospital and they put the mask over his face so he could breathe in the drugs - Pete had to hold him down he screamed & fought so much :( I was in tears..
